I figured out a way to stream Spotify to the AK70 over DLNA from an Android device. And since this should work with every AK device that supports AK connect, I figured I would make a separate thread for it. - Enable AK connect on your player
- Install an app called AirSpot on your Android device
- Make sure the AK and your Android device are on the same network. I'm actually using my phone as a hotspot for the AK70 and the following still works.
- Open the Airspot app. You should see your AK70 and any other DLNA devices on the network. Based on input from the creator, the first time you try this, it's better to use a regular WiFi, not a hotspot. Something about the first time the app broadcasts as a Spotify connect device needs a certain type of network connection or something..
- Open your Spotify app and under the option to see devices you can use Spotify Connect with you should see the AK player! You can even control the volume from within Spotify!

That Airspot app basically broadcasts itself as a Spotify connect device and then sends the decoded PCM data over DLNA to the AK70. Wow!Photo proof below
